As a wedding photographer, I love capturing the genuine moments that naturally unfold throughout the day. Alongside the candid moments, I also make time for beautiful portraits and important family photos. The Watermill at Priston Mill is the perfect venue for both.
During the drinks reception, guests naturally spread throughout the gardens. Children head straight for the playground, while friends and family catch up over drinks. This creates endless opportunities to capture laughter, conversations and all the little moments that make your wedding day unique.
When it comes to portraits, couples are spoilt for choice at The Watermill. The gardens, balcony, fields and historic stone buildings all offer something different. Therefore, we can create a varied gallery without ever needing to leave the venue.
If you are lucky enough to have a golden sunset, the surrounding countryside provides the dreamiest soft light. It is the perfect way to finish your wedding portraits.
One of the biggest benefits of getting married at The Watermill is that everything happens in one place. From your ceremony through to your evening celebrations, your guests can relax and enjoy the day without travelling between venues.
As a result, your wedding feels more relaxed and you have even more time to spend with the people you love. It creates a laid back atmosphere where every moment can be enjoyed.

Gaya and Ryann’s wedding was a beautiful fusion of Filipino and British traditions. Every detail reflected their story and celebrated both of their backgrounds.
Ryann wore a traditional Barong Tagalog, while Gaya wore a breathtaking floral veil handcrafted in the Philippines. These meaningful details brought their cultures together in the most beautiful way.
Before the celebrations at The Watermill began, the couple shared a first look at the stunning Royal Crescent in Bath. Afterwards, they explored the area with their bridal party for some fun and relaxed portraits. It was the perfect start to an unforgettable wedding day.
When guests arrived at The Watermill, they were welcomed by stunning Bridgerton-inspired floral styling. The ceremony took place beneath a spectacular floral arch filled with soft pinks, lilacs, vibrant corals and pops of bright colour.
The flowers completely transformed the garden space. They also complemented the romantic and elegant feel of the venue perfectly.
As the day continued, the celebrations became even bigger. The gardens were filled with laughter during the drinks reception, and guests enjoyed every moment together.
Later, Gaya, Ryann and their bridal party headed to the playground for some playful and unforgettable photos. It was such a fun reflection of their personalities and the relaxed atmosphere of their day.
Finally, everyone made their way inside for an evening filled with incredible food, dancing and celebrations. It was one of those weddings where every detail felt personal, meaningful and full of love.
A beautiful celebration of two cultures coming together at The Watermill at Priston Mill.
