Situated just outside Bath, this stunning venue has everything you could want for a relaxed and romantic wedding day, from its historic stone buildings to its peaceful gardens and flowing stream.
One of the things I love most about photographing weddings at The Watermill is how effortlessly beautiful it is. You don’t need elaborate styling or endless decorations because the venue already has so much personality. The original mill and the surrounding gardens create a stunning backdrop that looks incredible in every season.
I’ve photographed weddings at Priston Mill in sunshine, scorching heatwaves, pouring rain and even a hailstorm! And not one of those weddings was spoiled by the weather. If anything, each one had its own unique atmosphere, proving that whatever the forecast, this beautiful venue always delivers an unforgettable wedding day.
Hannah and Ben’s wedding at The Watermill was a perfect reminder that the weather doesn’t make the wedding. Their day brought everything from glorious sunshine to a surprise hailstorm, but instead of letting it dampen the celebrations, Hannah embraced it completely. While everyone else took cover, she went outside and danced in the hail with the biggest smile on her face.
